Beacause we are psyched for the long weekend. Because Peter Blake and Sagmeister turn me on and because I wanted to sit around piling together M n M's and eat lumps of marzipan. photographed each element individually then wrote dirrectly onto printout before scanning in.
Bussey Building Roof Painting with Fruit Palace
Love those Fruit Palace boys. Udi and Harry once again put on an epic night and me and Dani brought some folks down to paint live whilst the sun set over London. Bussey Building big up, it nearly beats Franks bar. And thats saying something. So much more to come with FP.

RookieCreative Launch- Portobello

With a necklace borrowed from Beyond the Valley and a race to upload new arrows and buttons the unicorns rushed form the Grove End Road kitchen to portobello in stupid shoes to a wonderful champagne reception to witness the chic, heeled and spectacled gather to celebrate RookieCreatives launch. A proud moment for me and Chloe.

After months of planning, contemplation and late night working We Breed Unicorns finally has finished Rookie Creative. The creative portal belonging to Sacha Harrison is now up and running with interesting, insightful and comedic articles and interviews- skip to me being asked whether i'd prefer to eat Johnny Flynn or Laura Marling. Congratulations to Sacha and all the wonderful contributors on their amazing launch party and the amazing brins behnd the content of this site. It was a learning curve for all of us but we got their in the end. Click here to have a read.

Johnny Flynn Writes a Poem

Tracey Emins show lead to the purchase of this divine book. With rounded corners and thick blank pages - Stationary love right there. On Sunday we went in persuit of the talented beautiful man himself. The dreamer and poet and father and godman was standing modestly to the right of the stage before his performance so I scuttled up to speak to him and he wrote this Dorothy Parker poem in my book for me. Timidly he scrawled, stopping to tuck his dishelvelled hair behind his ear. The Slow Clubs Rebecca then did the same so I thought of it as maybe a mini project of sorts. I ask myself what if the book had said, well, something else.
The Poem reads:
"Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren’t lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live."
— Dorothy Parker

DR MIX at The Working Mans Club- Bethnal Green

We went to ex Stone Roses hero John Squire's new solo show and reflected longingly over his beautiful geometric paintings representing Lindsey Lohan, Woody Allen and of course Gaga. With a bagel soon in hand and a skip in our steps we rolled out to a charity night at the Working Mans Club ft music by The Waylayers (White Lies meets Foals -lineup right) and not forgetting Dr Mix. His concept being that you place your greatest fear in his hands and he returns to you with a mix-tape to cure your anxiety, (playlist left). Without the want to seem so sombre on the topic of the old L word it was relevant as we'd just discussed how Marilyn Monroe never found it and.....never.....had an orgasm. So there I was a vision a little less graceful than Mazza her bloody-self asking a complete stranger to heal my darkest fear. So yes, self reflection and fear seeking may all seem a bundle of annoyance to many but in this instance it was kinda ok I think. Kinda ok to receive a shiny new disc of understanding. No more biography shIt for a while mind.
